5. Séamus Tansey’s / The Road to Ballygirreen / Cap and Bells (Reels)
I was so blessed to have Séamus Tansey as my flute teacher from day one. Séamus didn’t often compose, when I asked him about the name of this tune I’d heard he said he doesn’t have a noticen why it’s widely known as Séamus Tansey’s. The last reel was composed by Armagh Piano and fiddle player, Josephine Keegan.

Superbly played music with a great ‘live’ feel. Love Donal Lunny’s bouzouki the connection between fiddle and flute and the spot-on production and recording. Love it! Hope you lads go on to do loads more. thecapn_uk

Forenote: Unbiased review ahead! I just can't get enough of this album. I love proper Celtic music, and this particular style just pushes all my buttons. It feels like Sarah made this record just for me! Joseph Karl
